Tip # 1 Environment

Is anyone paying attention to the Kyoto accords? How does one NOT procrastinate in doing what's good for the environment?

Here are a few suggestions:

* Write to authority figures and tell them to send out regular updates to your residents that there are recycling boxes available for free at your nearest city hall. Tell them to also send out notifications and info on how to recycle and how to compost their fruits and vegetables.

* Be the role model by sorting out garbage everyday. And try to get into the habit of recycling!

* If you have free time, offer your services for free to an environmental cause. Give your time to the community since most of them have annual clean-ups where you'll easily be able to participate and add your energy to the pie.

Never procrastinate about the environment. The environment is in need for you to help your children breathe healthier and cleaner air.

Tip # 2 Environment - river running dry?

Again, here's where pen and paper can be powerful tools. Don't delay writing to your local officials about a factory or plant that is violating environmental regulations. Report it to the authorities before the clouds become heavy with pollutants and the rivers run dry.
