Writing a quality article is not a difficult thing provided that we have a good preparation work before our writing and think about the readers that we hope them to read on.

An outline is important for writing a quality article. This outline brings you a clearer focus on your thinking. It includes a heading, introduction, body and the conclusion. Always decide on the length of the article in advance. We should always compile a list of possible reference material for us to consult. This can include documents, newspapers and people we talk to.

The introduction part brings out the problem you will be talking in your article or write a short story of your experience with the problem. The body will discuss all the methods of solution to the problem you outlined in the introduction. Break up each point into separate paragraphs and maintain them to about 5-7 lines. You may want to create a sub-heading for each point. This makes it not so difficult to read as most people will scan your article when reading it online. The language which we use should be simple and straight. The article should be presented in such a way so that the reader finds it interactive and at the same time can get benefit on the information from it. The conclusion part always summarizes the whole article in few sentenses, so that even if the reader has no time to read the whole article, it can at least get a idea of it by just reading the conclusion.

Most of the good articles are written in informal style, like we would explain our situation to a friend. Don't worry too much about correcting mistakes or how it sounds. This may hinder the flow of thoughts you want to write about. You can always correct them later. After completing your article, run it through a spell checker first, then read it through several times to check for spelling mistakes the spell checker may have missed and to correct the grammar and punctuation. Make sure it flows well by clearly identifying the problem, providing a solution and concluding with an action step or steps. Get your friend else to read it over. Often they will find the problems that you missed.

It's always easy to express ourselves through writing articles and it feels even better when others like your work. Therefore, keeping just small things in mind, like what you want to write, who you should write, using simple style and the other essentials for writing the article, you can always start writing whenever you want.
