Before we write an article, we need to know about what are we prepare to write and who are targeted to read this article. We should have a clear picture in our mind about what we want to pass to our reader.

An outline is important for writing a good article. This outline brings you a clearer focus on your thinking. It includes a heading, introduction, body and the conclusion. Always decide on the content of the article in advance. We should always compile a list of possible material for us to consult. This can include documents, blog material and people we talk to.

The introduction part introduces the problem you will be writing in your article or write a simple story of your experience with the problem. The body will discuss all the solution methods to the problem you brought out in the introduction. Break up each point into separate paragraphs and maintain them to about 5 lines. You may want to create a sub-heading for each point. This makes it easier to read as most readers will scan your article when reading it online. The language which we use should be simple and straight. The article should be presented in such a way so that people finds it interactive and at the same time can get benefit on the information from it. The conclusion part always summarizes the whole article in few sentenses, so that even if the reader doesn't read the whole article, it can at least get a glimpse of it by just reading the conclusion.

Most of the articles are written in informal style, like we would explain our situation to a friend. Don't worry too much about correcting mistakes or how it sounds. This may interrupt the flow of thoughts you want to write about. You can always correct them later. After writing your article, run it through a spell checker first, then read it through several times to check for spelling mistakes the spell checker may have missed and to correct the grammar and punctuation. Make sure it flows well by clearly identifying the problem, providing a solution method and concluding with an action step or steps. Get your friend else to read it over. Often they will find the problems that you missed.

It's always easy to express ourselves through writing articles and it feels even more good when others appreciate your work. As a result, keeping just small things in mind, like what you want to write, who you should write, using simple style and the other essentials for writing the article, you can always start writing whenever you want.
