Human growth hormone or HGH for short is making the headline news a lot these days, even thought it's not a new discovery. Headlines talk about how HGH is being used to help medical conditions for many children, but they also discuss how this drug is being used by people taking HGH illegally. Either way this drug is getting attention and making headlines.

Human growth hormone and its connection with aging first became known in the 90's, even though it had been used since the 1950's to aid in treating some growth disorders that were found in many children. Up until the 90's HGH was not something that was really discussed with the public.
