Outdoor BBQ Grills are what Dreams are made of!

Not too long ago most outdoor bbq grills looked similar. We had large colored kettle shaped bbq grills that were rolled into a corner on the patio that was seen by nearly every home in the U.S. and anyone with something different was the talk of the town.

Today, fortunately there are many options available to you when it comes to outdoor bbq grills, and not just in the look and size of the grills but in cooking features and options as well.

One of the more important reasons for the different design and look of outdoor bbq grills was safety. The old kettle shaped bbq grills had their handle on the top. This meant you had reach across a hot area or surface to remove the lid. Most current outdoor bbq grills have their handle placed on the front of the lid or cover. This makes it easier and safer for all concerned.

And propane is quickly becoming the heat source of choice for outdoor chefs, as propane grills typically light just with the touch of a button. This means no more lighter fluid and matches, and less chances of flame flare-ups as well. Outdoor bbq grills that use propane are considered safer for those with children who may get too close to the grill.

Interesting enough some outdoor bbq grills can be designed or selected that offer different types of cooking methods. For example a rotisserie that turns the food over while you can entertain your guests rather than hovering over the bbq grill. Another example is an electric powered water smoker. These types of outdoor bbq grills baste the food while cooking it slowly for that roasted flavor.

There is no end to the add-ons you can get for outdoor bbq grills. Most come with an extra electric or gas burner for cooking an additional dish, and warming compartments for the hot dog or hamburger buns and side dishes that need to stay hot.

Why stop there? Some of the larger outdoor grills actually have a built in refrigerators. We don't want to drink warm beer. Seriously, you can store drinks and various food items without the need to run back and forth into the kitchen.

It is not unusual for people to spend less on travel and more on home improvements. One of the main areas that we see improvements is outdoor living. If you love entertaining guests at home then there is an outdoor bbq grill with your name on it.
