The Law of Attraction Energy comes from Love, Peace, and Joy

I want to tell you a bit about my father- who was a happy go lucky person with a constant song in his heart. He never saw the movie The Secret, or went to Yoga classes. He did not read philosophy. And yet he manifested the good around him his whole life long. And when he passed away a week ago Monday I was there with him. I held his hand for a day and a half. He was loathe to let it go. And that time with him- time spent largely in the silence- was both the most heartbreaking and the most love-filled time of my life.

My father never spoke the law of attraction, but he lived it. He did what made him and others happy and at peace. He did this day in and day out. And he was happy. So when I speak of how to access the law of attraction energy, I speak about his life, in-absentia, for him and all of us.

It becomes important then if we want to live in the 'happy zone' of attraction for us to determine what makes us happy. Do you enjoy sitting by a babbling brook? Watching the sky turn red at the end of the day? Watching fireflies? Telling a joke with friends?

As for peace, I get into that place by listening to peaceful music, listening to the waves at the oceanside, or watching a squirrel bury his nuts in the woods near my home. Contemplating lovely artwork makes me peaceful, as does reading spiritual writings and saying affirmations.

I get into the space of love by lying on the couch with my arms around one of my children. I also get there by cuddling and watching a movie, or conversing with someone I care for about what makes them happy.

When I was a kid my dad and I loved to sing together in the car. We sang at the top of our lungs with the windows up or down. It didn't matter. And this was how we found our joy together. Joy being all important to accessing The Law of Attraction Energy. So now what is it that brings you joy and happiness? And are you willing to do it, day in and out, no matter what other agendas and jobs you have? Because that truly is the only way to manifest the good in your life. You must feel happy and be happy.

It is certain that we do not access the Law of Attraction Energy by doing things that drain or upset us, such as being with negative people, or watching sad movies. My dad had this tool down pat and when he watched a movie it was The Sound of Music or Oklahoma. He knew instinctively that negativity was best taken in small, limited doses.

So as you go through your week and your day, and you want to access the good in life, do what makes you happy. You can even do what makes others happy, and your happiness will often follow along, if you do it with goodwill, and no regrets or resentment. If you can't do that, then do something just for you. Do what makes you feel good, and you will begin to manifest the good in your life. And it will also honor the memory of my dad, a true light on this earth- whose light can still live on through all of us.
