Are you ready to shed some unwanted, unbearable weight? Why is it that weight loss for women is always put on the backburner? Between, the kids, the job, the housecleaning and everybody else's wants and needs sometimes your needs are shoved to the side. The bottom line is that women are selfless but unfortunately there is some suffering that comes along with the ability to put everyone else first.

Does the above description sound like your life? You and I are kidding ourselves if we think we can juggle the gym three to five times a week on top of the rest of our busy lives. The majority of us cannot afford a full-time nanny so that is out of the question. Even a good babysitter is hard to come by these days. I know from experience that you have to be looking for a simple, well explained a quick way to get back in shape.

Now, let's talk about your diet. Now, diet is a scary word, believe me, I know. But weight loss for women doesn't require a strict insanely gross diet such as all grapefruit all the time. Eating healthy is all about choices. Kick the fried food and ridiculous portions of junk food. Trade those out for smart snacks and lots of fruits and veggies. Try and plan your meals a week in advance so you don't feel pressured into eating on the run or eating stuff that will deter your new plan. This is not meant to be hard, it can be easy and quick you just have to set your mind to it!

Placing Your Needs Above Everyone Else's. This sounds bad as a mother but really, think about it. If you were healthy, if you were in shape and if you were happier, wouldn't everyone benefit? Of course they would. Basically, you have to consider what it is that you need to keep you energized and ready to go. Is it a vacation, maybe it is just 15 minutes a day or a lunch with the girls once a week. Whatever it is, do it!

5 Finally, I got sick of it! I was ready to take back my fitness and I bet you are too! You must realize, you have to have a strong desire for self-improvement or you are not going to budge. It does not matter if you have packed on five pounds or fifty-five pounds, now is the time to get your energy and let's face it, your will to make it through the day back. I know for a fact that as I started putting on the weight I slowly started to lose the ability to play with my kids, run around outside with them and I just plain did not feel like doing anything above and beyond the basic call of duty. Keep in mind that those are the things you desire from self-improvement.

Fitness and Exercise Plan. Is 15 to 30 minutes a day too much to ask? In fact, you don't have to work out 7 days a week. I know for a fact you don't have time for that. Only women with nannies have time for that. And if your family is on a budget like mine then a nanny is out of the question. First, think about what kind of exercise you enjoy doing. I like walking, Pilates and swimming but it varies from mom to mom. Some people just want to hop on the treadmill during their soaps and others enjoy biking in the evening. It really doesn't matter what kind of exercise you do, just find some you like.
